Nachtaktiv

Molecular Plant Breeding contributed to the event “Nachtaktiv” in the Botanical Garden of Zurich. With the theme “Plant dating”, “Nachtaktiv” brought science and scientists closer to the young public, by organizing a night tour to the Botanical Garden, coupled with exhibits of research projects. Dr. Chloé Manzanares and Dr. Marius Rohner illustrated some of the different mechanisms that plants have developed to avoid self-pollination, with a focus on self-incompatibility in grasses. external pageNachtaktivcall_made
